New Hancock Blu-ray SteelBook Release

Earlier this week we talked about quite a few Media Markt (German store) exclusives getting released on amazon.de, but today we’re here to talk about Hancock getting re-released again on amazon.de but in different packaging. If you haven’t wised up, its Sony Pictures who is pulling all these re-release strings. Scheduled to drop the same date as many other Steelies, January 21st. Below you will find the pics of the original version and the new version coming. I’d say its safe to now bet that the original version is or will be out of print, but maybe not totally out of stock? (through 3rd Party Sellers) In total, for the obcessed collectors there will be a grand total of 3 Hancock steelies on the market as the first pressing came with the bonus digital copy disc in the white sleeve.

Also, a small note … The original has a matte finish and if this new release follows the same pattern as all the Media Markt releases that Sony put out then it would have a shimmering gloss like finish. Also boasting a Dolby True HD English audio track amongst others noted below.
